  1. That’s cool – I’ve always meant to try dried beans, but I’ve never cooked with them before. For say, bean nachos, I would usually chuck onion, spices and a can of red kidney beans in the pan for 10-15 mins, add salsa and corn chips, grill some cheese over and nom. What would I need to do if I had dried red kidney beans instead? Soak first? Cook in water? I find the variety of advice online a little overwhelming.
